At yesterday's referendum, the voters of Wädenswil approved the private design plan for the «AuPark» site. This private design plan as well as the associated partial revision of planning use will now be submitted to the building authorities of the Canton of Zurich for examination and approval.
«AuPark» is a development project of the Intershop Gruppe. In addition to the cantonal school on the left bank of the lake of Zürich, the project also includes over 200 new apartments, additional commercial and community shopping space. In the heart of the complex, a spacious public park with playground is planned as a connecting element and attractive meeting zone for the population of Au.
